Book fair … 32 and still strong

The entry to the 32nd Chennai Book fair. The crowd streaming in is unimaginable, rather i should say thronging the stalls. Tamil books are the most popular ones, you get to see a lots of books coming out of storage in the stalls and to the glee of the book lovers.

    Are people postponing buying books for the fair and so there is a big crowd?

    I think so, that must be the reason for the big crowd, in addition to those who come there with hope to find books that they normally do not find in the book shops.

    How many people buy the books and do not read it for many years?

    I have quite a few of such books. Bought on impulse and only helpful to get a quick and good sleep. :) )

    Ram: To many i think books are impulsive, so not many postpone buys. But reading all that bought seems a “not important” issue …. you’ll read it some times either once or many rereads …..
