Though the idea is different and applications are not very similar, but thanks to explosion in the communication medium the Morse Codes have not very popular these days. The Amateur Radio enthusiasts or popularly known as Hams still make this popular.
The dots and dashes are very critical in SOS calls when most of the telecommunications fail.
Today is the birthday of Samuel Morse.

    Yes. We may not be using much of Kattu kada kada now, but I think even the e-Bits have evolved from those Morse bits!

    Google also remembered Samuel Morse as usual with “Kattu kada kada” logo.

    Ram : Yes the basis of the 0′s and 1′s in binary is still Dits and Dahs ….
