    They are extinct in Tirupathi & Thiruchanur and it has become a rare sight to see monkeys…..

    It is sad that our people are still feeding themselves by being cruel to these animals….

    Ram : But they’re quite a common sight in Pazhamudircholai, Kundrakudi and many other places, probably where the tourists are low and they still survive i guess.

    I have read somewhere that people kill monkeys to eat their brain. Do not know if it happens in Tamilnadu.
