Carpetbaggers

…. its not the derogatory reference to the politicians nor the Famed Harold Robbins novel. Its the common sight of the Carpet Sellers from North of India pushing their carts in the streets of Chennai to sell more carpets. One more close reference to the earlier post on same.

  1. I bought a beautiful, silk, prayer carpet in Agra – made in India – I love it!

Ram : We are glad you liked the Carpet and it has fond memories Leif.

  2. My wife bought two carpets about an year back. They are beautiful but then also accumulate dust. The servant maid doesn’t like rolling it to clean the floor and then roll it back again on the floor. She wants us to pay an extra sum for doing that.

If you are planning to buy one such carpet, be aware of the recurring expenses, aka, servant maid hiking her pay!

Ram : Hmmm …. i guess we need to use the Eureka Forbes gadget for cleaning these carpets (add the cost Fin Controller)
