Women Only

Chennai Suburban has eight "All women Police Stations" in its zone. The same as a concept was formed in 1992 by Tamil Nadu Police, with Thousand Lights Police station as the pilot project. Its aimed at providing relief to women in distress, rescue girls & missing children, curb immoral trafficking and many such services to women at large. Since then all districts have opened an All Women Police Station at their HQ, in Tamil Nadu.
