Last June, the state government announced a grand plan for keeping the three main arterial roads (namely Anna Salai, Kamarajar Salai & EVR Periyar Salai) Poster free. They announced the same again this month that they’ll implement it with vigour.

121 years old, yes this society to develop arts & crafts was formed in 1887 in Chennai. The VTI now stands at the heart of Chennai in the Anna Salai/Mount Road opp TVS and very near to Spencer Plaza.
They have stock of Paintings, Carvings, Wood Crafts, Dolls and much more when it comes to art [...]

This 14 storied, 177 feet tall building which houses the Regional office of LIC of India was the tallest building in India when it as inaugurated in 1959 and was the tallest building in Chennai for a very long time period. Check more about this tall building here.

The Chennai city traffic police have placed these signs at some arterial road junctions warning the traffic about the penalization of violating the signal/stop line.
The residents sincerly hope the users adhere to the rules by the book & spirit. Any amount of policing doesn’t curb the traffic violations unless we all, the road users abide [...]

The Old Srilekha Intercontinental, later renovated and relaunched by Marriott as Courtyard hotels. Its on the Anna Salai aka Mount Road, the artery of Chennai. They have a superb service, lively coffee shop called Paprika & well doneup bar called Rhapsody.

This is an Hotel property from the old grounds of Abbotsbury Hall, which is in this unfinished state for thelast 9-10 years.It was started to be made as Oberoi by Balaji Hotels & later tipped to be an Inter Continental and now its stated to be a Hyatt. Lets wait for the official line …… [...]
