… it was a really funny to watch this sign in a mobile shop. He’s not just selling Mobile phone or Accessories, but also value added services like these ….. Good entrepreneur and most importantly has a good humour i presume.

Tata DOCOMO is joining the Nth operator for the Tamil Nadu Circle, with their GSM offering (Honestly i’ve lost count). The CURRENT ones being Aircel (erstwhile RPG), Airtel (erstwhile Skycell), BSNL, Vodafone, Reliance CDMA, Tata CDMA (Tata Indicom), MTS CDMA, Reliance GSM.
But their interesting offer is 1 Paise per Second billing for all calls [...]

Mobile Operator – 2
Airtel, erstwhile known as Skycell is also one of the first two operators which started service in Chennai in Sep’95.
They are also into Broadband, Landline services and soon into (or are they already into) IPTV. They are the leading mobile opertaor across India too.

Aircel … erstwhile known as RPG cellular (before takeover) is one of the 1st two mobile operators from Sep’95 onwards, in Chennai.
Is now held by Maxis Communications of Malaysia.
