Most of the Tow vehicles in Chennai are the part of the Police (or in their Duty) only. Which are normally used to tow away the vehicles from No-Parking zones across the city. Predominantly this happens towards the month-ends & month startings, for obvious reasons.

Its a classic Chevrolet Fleetmasters, from the late 1940’s. These sedans were “fat tendered” cars suiting the then fashion / trend among car buyers.
I guess this one is owned by the Management of New Woodlands hotel and can be found in a very good condition in their compound.

It says “Kalaignars Poetry” about the CMs Daughter Ms. Kanimozhi, the vinyl hoardings which have come up in some main junctions of the city road. She’s a Rajya Sabha MP, poet and organiser of the Chennai Sangamam Show across the city.
I particularly like the two different photo’s treated as one and well.

Operation Flood started in 1970’s by National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) was aimed to create a “White Revolution” among Milk producers and avoid the seasonality of this business for the Milk Farmers. An unique way to serve the water melon juice, at Hotel Sennthur opp Spencer Plaza, Anna Salai.
They also were serving something unique called “Butter Curd” shots. Ordered it and later realised they were “Bitter Gourd” shots served like your tequila shots in their Health Combo. Hmmm … was not bad though.
