The Old battery covers or holds are the best plant pots at many row houses in the Olden Madras. The most grown species (the green thumb for that house in this case) is a Money Plant (aka Lunaria annua).

What a use for the old and to be thrown away items, that could be found in India.

Seen this at Mylapore Near Sanskrit College, by my son.
